Project Name: “Liberalisation and Agricultural Sustainability in North-West India”. Sponsored by World Bank.
Year: 2003
Position: Senior Research Analyst
Duties: Responsibilities included Collection and analysis of data pertaining to agricultural area, production, cost of cultivation and productivity in Haryana and Punjab in the pre and post liberalization period. Also writing of the final report of the project and editing.

Project Name: Study on ‘Urban expansion and its impact on Land Prices in Faridabad’
Location: Faridabad, Haryana, India
Year: 2003
Position: Principal Investigator
Duties: The objective of the study was to asses the nature and extent of urban expansion in the fringe areas of Faridabad, its causes and its impact on land prices in the surrounding areas. The responsibilities included designing and monitoring of field surveys with regards to urban expansion and land prices. It also involved the analysis of both the primary and secondary level information and econometric modeling to forecast the urban expansion in the future years.

Project Name: Study on “Customers Satisfaction in LIC’
Location: Delhi, India
Year: 2005
Position: Consultant
Duties: The objective of study was to assess the satisfaction levels of policyholders of LIC. It also aimed to find out the various areas where customers’ satisfaction has not been up to the mark. It also aimed at tracing the reasons behind the areas specific low level of customer satisfaction and suggesting remedies for the same.
The study was based on a comprehensive review of literature on customer satisfaction in insurance industry, collection of data on the basis of a stratified random sample survey, well developed analytical framework.

Project Name: Micro finance and Non farm Activity: A Block Level Study
Location: Bhandari Pokhari Block, Bhadrak District, Orissa, India

Duties: Responsible for conceptualizing, and developing the analytical framework for the study. The responsibilities also included the design of questionnaire and sampling. Finally the responsibility was the writing of the project report and editing.

Project Name: Imparting the knowledge of Result and Information Management System (RIMS) for the Stakeholders of IFAD, New Delhi.
Location: Ahamedabad, Bilaspur and Ranchi

Duties: Organisation of workshops for the Stakeholders of IFAD such as JEEVIKA (by SEWA) in Ahemadbad (Gujurat), Chatisgarh Tribal Development Project (CTDP) in Bilaspur (Chatisgarh), Jharkahand Tribal Development Project (JTDP) in Ranchi (Jharkhand).
The responsibilities included preparation of course material for the newly introduced Result and Information Management System (RIMS) of IFAD, UN, Rome. The responsibilities also included imparting the knowledge of RIMS to the stakeholders of IFAD by organising workshops.

Project Name: Growth, Structure and Performance of Manufacturing Industries in India
Location: Delhi, India
Year: 1995-1997
Position: Researcher
Duties: The objective of the research was to analyze the pattern of growth of manufacturing industries at 3 digit level. The patterns of growth analyzed were particularly with respect to output, capital stock and employment. The objective also included the assessment of the structural aspects of the industries taken under consideration. Particularly it aimed at finding out the level of market concentration for the specific industries at the three digit level. Moreover, the study also attempted to find out the casual nexus between structure and performance (measured in terms of ratio of net profit or gross profit). The study covered review of literature on the evidences with regard to growth, structure and the casual nexus between structure and performance. The analyses in the study were based on the estimations from secondary data. Econometric tools were used for inter industry comparison.

Projects Name: Media Studies - Pre Poll, Exit Poll and Post Poll Surveys
Location: Rajastan, India
Year: 1995
Position: Supervisor – Field Research
Duties: Objective of the Pre Poll, Exit Poll and Post Poll Surveys was to get opinion and preferences of voters on different socio-economic and political issues that affect their voting behavior. Responsibilities included:
Conceptualisation of research design including sampling, drafting the questionnaires, coordinating and supervising the data collection process, analysis of collected data and giving quantitative and qualitative feedback.
